short shift/shift-lever question

I installed my short shift adapter on Monday (Solo) and it's outstanding. It's nice to shift only by pulling your fingers back instead of moving my whole arm.
The question is whether a different shift-**** will do anything or if I have to cut the length of the shift arm itself to get things a bit lower. (only about .75-1" lower though)

adapter is the key word...if you wanted it lower you should've gotten the actual short shifter...it's made by Revo Technica...

on a side note, you should pick up the kumosport bushings to go with your adapter...makes things a little smoother...2K1SiCDN can tell you where to get them...PM him about it...
