OT: You can't do a cop a favor!
on friday nite... rice4foo and i drove down eglinton arcarde for some game... on eglinton as rice wuz driving... he heard a siren and a cop approaching fast behind him... so rice STAYED, slowed down, on the left lane and kept the middle lane clear so the cop can dash through...
well... guess wat the fuq cop did... he tailed us and pulled over beside us... he opened his window... so i opened mine... gave him a face
.... so then he yells out "You shouldn't have a license!" ... me and rice looked blank thinkin' "WTF is this dud talkin'?"... so we're rdy to show this roach our drivers and owners... the roach looks pretty stupid now cuz we don't wat he's talkin' about...
so then he goes "YOU SHOULD PULL OVER TO THE RIGHT!" and took off on us like a 10 sec car...
this is the kind of appreciation u get when u clear the lane for roaches to dash by... they expect u to switch 3 lanes to clear up for them when they're going 120 by u... roaches are such fuqin' morons...

Rep Power: 0 THe cop is right though, usually people stay to the RIGHT Lane...I have seen a couple of drivers who actually slowed down ON THE LEFT.
I have also show ONE GUY who just stopped and the cop had to go through incoming traffic to pass through.

Rep Power: 0 if you are not a stop light or stopped in traffic, you have to get over to the right, cuz that's what they're thinking you're gunna do...but if you're at a light or something, staying put is the best thing to do...

Rep Power: 0 well.. if i remembered correctly, the book said to clear the way and that wuz exactly wat rice4foo did... that is wat i'm pist off about... plus... it wuz a 3 lane street and we were on the left lane... so didn't make sense for us to manuvour over to the right...
another fact is... cop wuz so fast approaching... we didn't even know until he wuz 20 m behind us... if he were to go around us... we all would've been fuqed pretty hard...
my advice is... listen to the book 100%... then ur a driving time bomb waiting to fuq urself and others up... so don't...

Rep Power: 0 even though you're supposed to pull over to the right, under certain circumstances you can't do what the book says. vtech's story for exception..if the cop was going that fast and he was too close to your car for you to safely cut across 3 lanes in one go, then i don't think that cop should have said whatever he said to vtech and rice4foo. maybe it's funny but i don't care. pigs all snort the same. I see pigs fly though reds all the time going thru reds w/o slowing down where I live. I always see them gunning it at night without lights or sirens on. they think they own the road.
normally in these situations cops are supposed to slow down a little, or a lot depending on the traffic ahead. a cop cannot just ASSUME drivers will pull to the right. for safety's sake a cop is supposed to take all dangerous manuevours into consideration before approaching traffic at an insane speed. I mean if a cop flashes his lights and sounds his sirens intending to drive through a red light, he still has to stop and look bothways, if he doesn't and gets hit by another car, it's all on the cop. that's what the book says. and i'm not talking about that driver's learning guide book.
my conclusion - in this particular situation the cop just wanted the opportunity to flaunt his pork DNA.

Ever notice how the left lane is usually more clear than the rest except when the highway is all jammed up?
And take notice when you're out a bit further from the city, 2 lane highway... everyone drives on the right lane and passes on the left. With exception of some people who cruise on the left lane and get in people's way.

Rep Power: 0 yup...left lane is strictly for passing...thats why in driving school they tell u to go to the far right on a two-lane road and the middle on a 3-lane road...whether its a 400 series highway or a local road...

Yup, in this case the cop is right, your friend was wrong. Everyone knows your supposed to move to the right not slow down in the left lane. If you had time to slow down then you had time to move over.
