I miss my car :(
To make a LONG story short..... my rack and pinion BLEW on me!!!!!!!!! [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]
[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] yeah dats right!!!!!!!!... RACK n PINION many of u guys seen my car in the KK meet..... and heard that weird noise when i steer... its becuause my power steering fluid was LOW LOW LOW!!!!!!!... but yahh... i managed to buy one in the gas station and filled it back up..... when i got home that night.. my garage was filled with smoke..... i was like WTF??????????? i openned my engine bay (similar to that part in Fast and furious when the guy opens up the engine bay of the eclipse) psssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... white smoke comes gushing out..... sooooooo i was like literally pissing my pants....... i didnt know wut to do..... come to figure... it was pwer steering fluid dripping on my downpipe..... when it hits..... it burns thus creating the smoke...... i look outside my garage and i see this long a$$ trail of fluid...... maybe akk the way from sauga... bwahahah... but yahh... i checked my fluid and it was low again...... sooo i took it to the dealership..... and they said that my rack and pinion blew.. i was like.. dyum!!!!!!!!... sooooooo early?????? anyway...... fixing it... cant get my car back till tuesday..... 2500$ job!!!...

Rep Power: 0 god dyum warranty!!!!!!!!!... i almost lost it tooooooooo........ they say how lowering my car puts a lot of strain to the powersteering causing it to break down..... i was like WTF>>>>>> how can that bee>???????? soooooooo gai!!!!!!...... strupid dealers.. but... fortunately... God answered my prayer and they called and they said that they finally got authorization from honda canada to proceed the fixation under warranty... i was soooooooo relieved!!!!!! cant afford 2500!!!!!!!!
but i guess most dealer are a$$hole when it comes to warranty repair cuz they dont make money on it and have to call honda canada...etc
but dont let their power scare you away....make them pay for everything and get a loaner car if possible

Rep Power: 0 Damn, sorry to hear about your ride andoy, but thank God that your car is getting fixed under warranty. I wonder what caused the power steering fluid to leak exactly? You should investigate this so it doesn't happen again

Rep Power: 0 i might have hit something or sumthing might have hit one of the power steering lines... and just blew...... i dunno... exactly but ima ask honda wut really happen..... by the sounds of it..... it was a big crack in the steering rack... because they said they had to replace the whole assembly which costs 1100$ just for the part alone!!!!!.... not to mention the labour which will deffinitley RAPE my a$$!!
