I agree with sup YO. Keep it legal... 35% in the front and 20% in the back. Or you could just go for 35% all around. Where are you gonna get your tints done? And how much is it gonna cost you? As for the windshield... the only thing you could get tinted is the sunstrip along the top. That's what I was told by a tint place anyway. Oh, and make sure you get your dot matrix and rear brake light filled in as well.

I am getting the brake light filled... not sure about the dot matrix.... you mean the lining on the side of the window, right? I think this place is smart enuf to do that... I hope.... Yup, the dot matrix is all those lil' dots around the rear windshield. $170 sounds about right to get your tints done. But what kind of tint film are they gonna use for you? Mirror tint, Llumar, Carbon? Those are just some of the tints I've heard of. Also, ask if there's a lifetime warranty included, just incase it bubbles or changes colour or peels. Also, ask them how they're gonna fill in the rear brake light and whether they're gonna use 1 piece or 2 piece. I know some places take apart the rear deck. So what percentage tint have you decided to go with?

I decided to go with 20% sides and rear.... looks nice... [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] they used lumar tint w/lifetime warranty... so can't complain about that... [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] but I think they took out the inside rubber along with the windows to do the tint... are they suppose to put that piece back on? i didn't notice until afterwards... hmm... have to call them up about that...

20% is a good combo I had that for awhile on my front doors but I wanted darker to match my 6% on the back 3

35% is too light...no point in tinting if u get 35%
20% all around is good....and if u get the premium tint...looks very nice

FX AUTO does the best tinting jobs....lifetime warranty...
might be a bit pricey but your tint won't turn purple...EVER
