Rep Power: 0 ya i do - there was a big post on this in the off topic forumn i believe - but it seems like it happened a lot - some one said if you don't rub your a$$ on the seat it won't happen - in other words in stead of sliding out of the car, pull yourself out with the door or the wheel.......

Rep Power: 0 I hate the friggin shock too......but i realize how to get out of my car without being shocked.....just keep in contact with the body of the car while you're getting out, sometimes you can even feel the static go through your hand!!

Yeah for me it only happens when I have had the aircon going and it is a really hot day...cuz then the air is sooo dry...and I get a shock when I close my door.....I guess it's kinda like when there is a power cable that has broken off and fallen onto your car...you should always jump off with both feet at the same time...hahaha....Just do that from now on..instead of getting out one foot at a time....
