i made my lower one and i regret it.
u should know how much it roughly cost ...web surfing is wicked when ur looking for car parts

I know...I took my bumper off again today to relocate my LED washer nozzles, and the DIY upper grille will be a pain in the a$$....I think I'll save up for a form fitted one...

Cool, I'd very much appriciate that! I've always been really nervous about taking bumpers off and stuff... on a new car and all. Which grill are you going with? Do you think it would look fine just plain black?

your car is silver right?!...it would look good black if you shaved your "CIVIC" emblem off the back and stuck it on the grille...otherwise I would paint it silver...can't beat a silver grille...

Yep my car's silver.. I guess I could get a Civic emblem from PacMall and stick it on the black grill.

The only reason I thought about going black is because of my black projo headlamps, gunmetal rims and carbon fibre taillamps... but painting it silver would go well too... tough to decide...!

TYCs

My brother wants to get TYC lights for his Celica, even though they aren't altezza styles at all...

I debated about getting the TYC carbons myself... but decided to go w/APCs, since I've seen them on another Civic before. Seems more readily available too..

Didn't really want to order from US either.. I paid $100 duty fee when I got my projo headlamps... where's my vaseline... still hurts

I only paid a $30 for customs fees...I was debating on projectors but got enough nerve to clear my heads, looks good enough for me...no one in my city has done it yet so I'm happy...

Don't get projos.. they suck ***...

They suck so bad, that my without my foglights, it feels like I'm driving in dark.

Having said that, they do attract tons of attention.. been getting stares from even OLD people.. especially with the PIAA SuperPlasma bulbs, they have the same lighting effect as an Audi (changes colour when you hit a bump on the road, from purple-blue-orange, but mostly white)..

Seems like they are back..........

thanks to Fast & Furious

thinking about getting 1 for mine.......... but I think I would have to invest in springs+side skirt 1st.......... and alarm/keyless/autostart too... the new rims pretty much drained me though. plus i had to buy RRSPs... &(#@(&$.... gonna have to wait till the fall for more toys. limited budget...

I would be interested in an altezza grill if its around $75. I took off my bumper to clear my headlights yesterday and realized that making the upper grill out of that home depot gutter gard would be too much work .. hehe, plus I don't think it will look that good.

I have a blue car, I was thinking of a silver grill to match my rims but I think that a black one will be fine.. What do you guys think?

Yeah, I know what you mean Machina.. Silver would stand out more.. I don't know what I would paint it with. Speaking of painting, I wouldn't mind painting my interior dash or trim or whatever you call it. Do you know what paint to use?

not sure whats up with the group buy yet, I'm going to email the guy and see what prices he can come up with. I'm also going to find out the shipping costs to Ontario.

Anyone know how much we would pay for customs on something like this?

If you're going to have it sent make sure they send it by USPS (United States Postal Service) otherwise, if they send it by UPS or FedEx you'll end up paying a brokerage fee as well...

I ended up paying almost $100CDN duty fee on an item that was $150US, comin from Cali, delivered by UPS...

I say we have a look at PacMall.... duty blows.

Unless whoever is sending it to us is willing to put something like "$15" on the receipt... I ordered than intake for one of my other cars, and I got away duty-free, because the item cost listed outside of the box's recept was so little.
