actually guys if you keep looking at it from that point of view then that shot would never make sense. You gotta take in to perspective the fact that he is a veteran and that was a very veteran move. If you look at the highlights tonight, which will be on fo-sho, he had a couple of pistons around him and they actually went for the block too... anyway, the idea was to pop the shot when they least expect it and then they'll go for the block but really all you're doing is trying to get a foul to take 3 shots for free from the foul line. Unfortunately, even though he flopped and made it look like he got fouled, and in turn made a horrid shot, he didn't get the call and things didn't go as he planned. I've played organized ball all my life and I've learned a few tricks of the trade myself. Remember, the referees don't always see everything. So sometimes, a little acting and a few stunts will get you just waht you need to get the foul.
