OEM alloys
I got my SI in september of 2001. As you all know, this come with so-called Alloy covers that seemed to be decent quality (for factory stuff). Anyways, just the other day, taking a closer look around the edges of the alloys, I noticed that there's some flaking of whatever the material the stuff is actually made of. This is not only happening to one of the wheels, but all four. Did anyone else notice this? Is this inherit of the cheap alloys from Honda? I don't use any of the strong cleaners or anything on the wheels, and I don't do any off-roading in my car that would actually ding up the edges like that.
Anyways, thanks for your responses...

I'm not sure what financial institute they use cause I am not doing that. Mines all paid for. I'm guessing they are using the Wheels-Direct institute of Canada...

if you drove your car this winter with those alloys on then the salt ate them...
since they are only 15" it doesn't matter cause you might get 17" rims, but if you weren't planning on getting new rims, you should have taken them off for the winter!!

Nah, definitely can't bring this back to the dealers. They're just going to say "normal wear-and-tear". I just never thought that the quality from Honda can be so poor. But yeah, definitely looking forward to some new rims.
