Only variable mortgage rates are low, due to the U.S. market cutting back on prime. Canada has to follow suit to keep the economy stabilized. You can expect the next couple of months for the Canadian Prime rate to drop to about 3% and U.S. to 1%. The market is projected to rise october 2008. Maufacturers are dying out and consumer retail is booming...
