The New 2008 Honda Civic
Hey all, have any of you heard of the new 2008 Honda Civic Mugen Si Sedan?? It is said that it is to be out in the mid october. And its going to be less than 30000$$. I was planning to purchase a civic SI coupe @ first, but after reading this, i have a tough choice. Any of you know if this is going to be distribted in Toronto?? Since its a limited production of 1,000 units only.
Heres the link btw. You guys think its worth the 30k?

The only interior changes are a Mugen sticker and shift **** as far as I can see. Well worth $30,000

Re: The New 2008 Honda Civic
for $30k, you could buy an si sedan, and have money left to mod it, making it better looking, and faster than the mugen si.
Re: The New 2008 Honda Civic
not sure if any of you have bought mugen parts before but they aren't cheap.
base prices:
acura csx type s msrp is $33,400.00 CAD not including tax and freight.
honda civic sedan ex msrp is $22,430.00 CAD not including tax and freight.
honda civic coupe si msrp $26,380.00 CAD not including tax and freight.
i think the price tag for the mugen civic sedan isn't outrageous.

Re: The New 2008 Honda Civic
I work for Honda, and I still think the Si is overpriced. As much as I love Hondas, you can get into a Cobalt SS Supercharged for less, pretty much the same hp but tones of torque. I would never buy a GM, but the price point is much better than Honda for the market they are aiming for. I would also prefer to spend the 3-4000 on performance upgrades. Any way this is a pointless argument because we arent going to see it, it's a US car only.
