Need help on getting oem stuff (GTA)
Need help on getting oem stuff (GTA)
I'm looking for a pair of oem headlights that fit for a civic 2002 DX. I've tried the sale/buy/trade forum but guess no one has it. Anyways, can anyone please point me some directions on where I can get them cheap? I'm going to sell this civic and I'm putting it back to stock, so I'm just looking for a used pair.
I've tried the dealer in Thornhill for a new pair but I guess they're overpriced. Then I tried a local autoshop near my house where they could get them for 10% off the dealer price, which will be $480. Are they charging me too much? Is there other places where I can get a decent used pair (as long as no defects or cracks) without costing this much?
I usually buy aftermarket stuff and never realized that going back to stock is such a big hassle, lol~
Thanks.

Well its not too much of a hassle if you keep your OEM parts stored or if you know where to look!
Anyways, if you want to purchase a used set... try www.car-parts.com it'll point you to scrapyards around town that may have them in stock. If you dont mind getting an Aftermarket OEM Style headlight give my buddy AJ a call at PartSource, he's the commercial manager there. 416-335-6599. A lot cheaper than OEM but they look and fit the same.
Just some ideas. Good luck
