LoL, I also just changed it with the CT ones, it looked half as bad as your. Probably cause I only have 80k on mines. BTW dealer sells the filters for $17 something for one.

Really?? i find it hard to believe that dealerships would actually sell something cheaper than CT, they usually love to rip you a new one when i try to price out parts here

so theres 2 behind the glove box?

last time i went to CT i looked through the filter aisle and there was so many different sizes, is this a filter that they have in the automotive section, like where the parts counter is, i have to ask the parts guy to get it in the back? or is it in the filter aisle?

the filters are on display behind the counter... the filters are also in the back.. you would have to ask the counter employee to get it for you.. then they would have to bring it to the cashier for you. as if it was a hot item and ppl are prone to steal those particular filters...

So that everyone is clear, the brand of the filters that CDN Tire sells is "MicronAir"

Here's the link. http://www.micronair.us/

The box will come with 2 filters, and it will have a sticker that says Civic, referencing Honda#: HN01111P. The MicronAir# is 233827-2 or something like that. I'm at work and the box is at home, I'm going by memory right now.

I will be installing them tonight. I should've bought these a couple months ago when I was suffering from allergies!

Thanks AznSaint (Andy) for the heads up!

Also, forgot to mention, it comes in a light blue and white box, and CDN Tire sells it for $29.99 plus tax. It's made in the USA, seems to be good quality and has the same arrows that the OEM ones do. I haven't done a direct comparison between a new OEM filter and these MicronAir filters, but whatever, a new and clean filter should be better than an old dirty filter. So, if you want to save a like $10, just get the MicronAir ones.

It's really easy! Takes about 5 - 10 minutes.

Open glove box... empty glove box... remove the two plastic things on the sides of the glove box... let the glove box hang down... remove small plastic cover that are over the two filter notches... pull the first notch, and install new filter (make note of the arrows for the direction of air flow)... slide the second notch to the left and pull it out, and install new filter... then put everything back in the reverse order you took it out.

There are instructions in your manual, I believe. The filters you buy from CDN Tire also have instructions. It's very straight forward and easy.

Good luck!
