im sure if the insurance people check ur driving record and find u got tickets ur rates will go up. trust me they will. my friend got 2 tickets and they went up for speeding at 15 more so hahaha...always fight them thats the only way it wont go up!

it doesn't matter if you were guilty of speeding in general, thats not what they have to prove, they have to prove that you were going 137, which is what they charged you with. When you go to court, if they lose the 137 case they cant just charge you with speeding in general, double jeopardy kinda thing, which is why when you go to court they may offer you a lower charge, just so they can make sure they get a conviction, up to you wheather or not you take it, if its worth it to you.
the worst part is, he didn't cut it down at all.... now i have to go to court!

Rep Power: 0 My friend got pinched last week with doing 195km/h in an 80 it was a huge ticket but the cop told him just to go to steps i think its called its for first time offenders and they cut it done to only $60 after he listened to them talk. There was a guy there that was driving a supra and got caught doing 210km.

Rep Power: 0 Always fight a ticket, a lot can happen. If you were charged in the city of Toronto, there is a long wait for court dates. The Ashcroft president will get a ticket thrown out if your court date is delayed 10 months or more. They stopped paying the cops overtime to attend traffic court, so it is a solid chance that the cop won't show. If you get a timely court date and the cop shows up, then plea bargin with the crown. They will usually come down on the fine, and may throw out the points. Ask me how I know? 130 in a 80: Thrown out related to delayed court date. 92 in a 70 reduced to 15 over and no points. I ride a sport bike, tickets are a fact of life if you are not cautious.

yea.. fight the ticket.. and u don't really need a excopper to help u fight it...
judges are usually lenient and reduces the actual charge... but u can alwayz be safe..
