Tom Yum Goong DVD
Does anyone own this DVD? If so where did you buy it from and can you get me a copy on dvd?
I'd try PacMall but it's to far for me to drive just to check.

I can buy it off ebay but it'll cost over $40 once I convert the price to Canadian with shipping and everything.
Braden... I think Fred has it so I'm just gonna borrow it off him.... but if you find it at Pac mall for cheap pick it up.

no I liked it.. I just thought it was way more unrealistic than Ong Bak. That scene with the big guys and the jump at the end - commonnnn.. that was so Jackie Chan'ish
I went to PacMall and picked it up for < $3.33.... (6 for $20 deal)... Meh, I didn't like what I *thought* I bought it for, but other areas of it were good...
- That Thai police officer, same guy as from Ong Bak. Joker
- The DVD I got had the audio a bit out of sync... damn.
- The emotional parts as he was in the kitchen, looking for his 'big dad'... I actually liked. Unexpected.
- The filming as he's going up the stairs in the 'restaurant' was very nicely done... I liked it alot. (1 fluid shot, no cuts/change in camera angle, like 5 mins long?)
- That black dude pissed me off
He was doing all that African stuff. (don't want to give the story away to the guys who haven't watched it yet)
- As for the ending scene, it wasn't what I expected.... Didn't really like it.
So.... Story was so-so, certain parts were great, the quality of the DVD put me off... oh well. Good movie overall.
Not sure which one I like better.... Ong Bak had alot more "flying knees" and "elbow to the heads"....
