Honda's estimate is gonna be about 5-6 grand, but you can probably get it fixed for 3000. I've called a couple of junk yards before and they sell the entire front end for about $2000, I think thats the way to go, u just have to be patient and find a black one. good luck

not sure how much insurance will cost, but i'm gonna try the 04-05 conversion and fix it with a friend of mine (hes an engine rebuilder by trade), I already sourced all the parts its gonna cost about 1000-1500 for everything... I got the rad support already, and took all the broken crap off the car, the rad support is welded to the car, so i gotta get that off somehow, put the new one in and start bolting all the 04-05 parts on...

oh, if anyone knows someone selling a CRX, EF, EG for cheap let me know...my budget is around 1000-1300...thx

Thats good you can get all that stuff for only 1000 to 1500. Is most of the damage cosmetic or do you have damage to the engine? Just curious cause you said your friend is an engine re-builder.

^^ thanks guys, yea... as far as I can tell there is no damage to the engine, it started fine, but you never know...it sounded extra loud for some reason, probably gonna take out the AC though, thats like the one thing thats too expensive too replace right now, heres the quote I got (for anybody that cares)

this is what i have so far for a 04-05 conversion:

right fender - 140
left fender - 115 (cant remember why one was cheaper than the other)
Front bumper - 200 (unless someones got a used one)
carbon fiber hood - 300-400 (might as well)
headlights (projectors) - 200 (OEMs are too expensive for now)
99 00 front lip - 150
JDM sidemarkers - 40

Total $1,245
