i did my swap at Defcon Racing in Pickering.
Their work is excellent.
I haven't had any problems with my car since the swap in july 2004
They actually fixed a wiring issue with Gusto's car as well.

Rep Power: 278 You will probably get quotes between $10000 to $13000 in Canada.
here a site with a complete parts listing:

Rep Power: 278 its all perspective if you think about it...
RSX type S is $33,400.00CAD + tax and freight
7thgencivic was around $20000 + tax and freight
For less than an RSX you get more HP in a lighter car.
I can understand the normal person just getting the RSX because of warranty etc...
but if you do like your civic and want the power the price is high but in comparison to buying an RSX then its roughly the same price.
and can an RSX beat:
- Honda s2000
- Infiniti g35
- EG and EK Civics with Type R swaps
- Acura 3.2 TL
etc...etc...etc
not to say that the RSX is not a great car....
its an amazing car...its all personal preference
do u want to be that sleeper that makes $40000 car owners mouths drop?

haha..i love how you put it that way..
i'm so jelous man..and yeah, nobody expects a civic 4 door to leave them in the dust..but i'll wait about another 3-4 years then i'll really consider it, if i want to do the swap on my car..

Rep Power: 257 Good way of putting it, but the only bad thing about riding around with a k20a2 under your hood without RSX badges is the fact that our cars are still worth insuring two ways. This being said your basically driving around with $10,000 - $12,000 dollars infront of you. Get in a crash and dont expect your insurance company to pay you for your K20, in fact they may even try and blame the k20 on the accident.
Sweet, but still to rich for my blood.

Rep Power: 278 very true about insurance...however if you really wanted to you can find an insurance company to insure the motor.
there are those out there if you are that worried...but again...it will cost even more money for insurance as well.
