Best exhaust?

What is the best all around exhaust for my 2005 Civic Si. I just bought it yesterday and i bought the ground effect kit from the Dealer should be in tommorrow or Friday. Now I need an exhaust to compliment the ground effects.I don't want one that is annoying LOUD preferably cat back. This site rocks by the way

Congrats on the new car

I have a magnaflow cat back. Its not loud because it comes with a resonator. Its also not too expensive.

welcome to the site. I think magnaflow is not too loud, currently using 2.25 header, 2.25mid pipe, spoon exhaust. no catalyic converter and no resonator, loved the sound :>

Yep I second that. 100% satisfied with my $450 purchase!

If you wanted to spend over 800 there are lots of nice setup's you can get. I've heard the Apexi WS2 is awsome

HAHAH CORNWALL!!!!!! Dude my girlfriend's parents live there. We go there at LEAST 3 times a month. check out my ride gallery for pics, Keep an eye out for me.

don't mod your exhaust....what i mean is don't mod your cat back. Just get Short Ram and Exhaust manifold. But don't touch your stock exhaust. I find stock exhaust produce the best off the line figures and it dosen't have a loud sound. I am going to Convert my MagnaFlow back to stock exhaust. too loud....no good.

I've heard great things about the RS-R Catback. It looks stock and sounds stock at cruising speeds... but when you gun it to redline, it sounds very agressive, but not too too lound.

I have the Apexi' GT Spec, and it's a great exhaust! However, some ppl say it's loud, and some ppl don't. Everyone has their own opinion on what loud is. Personally, I would try to go to a meet and ask ppl to rev their car or drive it by you so you can hear it from the outside and then ask for a spin around the block to hear it from the inside.

As for a rear section, you could look into the HKS.

Just my $0.02

don't spend so much in exhaust coz most likely is just for the look and sound, mine also using ractive and it's looks good and sounds great. $300 for an axle-back+installed, no more to ask.
