As is evident to many of you it is now June... and we do not yet have a finalized roster for our team GENSEVEN... However, due to May being a busy month for many of us I take this opportunity to apologize on behalf of the reps for the delay in finalizing team issues thus far...

This thread is to give you ALL of the information you need about TEAM GENSEVEN in order to decide "YES I WANT TO BE A MEMBER" or "NO, ITS NOT MY THING"

For information about what the team is about look in the GENSEVEN subforum, there are many posts and threads about what we are trying to achieve as a unified group

NOTE: If you are part of this team you can be part of OTHER teams, it is not exclusive...


GENSEVEN SUMMARY INFORMATION

1. At this time NO FEE has been established and therefore will become necessary only when we figure out exactly what it is going to be used for, so that you know exactly where your money is going, at this time it wouldn't be fair to collect money from you with you being uncertain about its exact purpose

2. ALL WE WANT TO KNOW is if you are willing to dedicate yourself to this team and attend 3 or more shows/events/meets during the 2005 season and if you find the team proposal reasonable

TEAM PROPOSAL

Membership FEE allows for each member to be entitled to:

***NOTE: When a membership fee is paid, the money will not disappear. Every penny will be put back into the team and its members in the designated manner that the representatives and members agree on.***

1. Genseven Website-
• A personal profile with pictures and information regarding the vehicle and driver.

2. Stickers-
• Choice of two side stickers or one windshield banner in preferred colour.

3. Prizes / Giveaways-
• The official meets of the year will include a giveaway or a big prize to member(s).

4. Miscellaneous spending-
• Excess money will be used to pay for:
• Show registrations
• Equipment for shows (i.e.: tents, coolers, etc.)
• Team wear (i.e.: shirts, jackets, hats, etc.)


RULES & REGULATIONS:

***NOTE: When a member joins the team, it is evident in the contract that a commitment has been made to abide by the rules that have been set forth by the representatives.***

1. Each member of Genseven will without justification:

• Treat every individual with respect; this includes the genseven team members and representatives, any other teams one might encounter at any time, the public, etc.

• Provide only constructive criticisms as opposed to any negative feedback to any of the above mentioned individuals.

• Responsibly deal with disagreements or arguments encountered and include a representative in the resolution process if need be.

• Abide by all traffic laws. Every genseven member is wearing the team name and it will be represented with pride and dignity. What each member of genseven does affects every other member so this needs to be kept in mind at all times.

• Be responsible for all of your actions and not blame any aspect of the team or any of its members for your personal conduct. The representatives are not babysitters and therefore it is imperative that each member looks afterthemselves and their own conduct.

• Be appreciative of all services provided by the representatives and coordinators of the team or of any event or show. Remember none of them get paid, so please do not expect excess service such as chasing you for forms, fee, or any other important information that is needed of you.


In regard to the monthly CALENDAR

1. All meets, shows, and other important events happening with the Genseven team will be posted on the monthly calendar that will be available in the Genseven subforum on 7thgencivic.com.

2. As an active and paying member we encourage everyone to show up to all meets and events for the season. Be sure to see how your money is being spent and how your team is growing.

3. Shows: A representative or a show coordinator has all say when it comes to any issue such as this. Deadlines and contracts are important and things must be done by the timelines that representatives will provide. Business needs to be attended to and therefore your full attention is required with the time comes. The representatives/ coordinators will not chase you for forms or information so please be responsible.

that is the plan...however i have to seee for sure how much the stickers r going to cost...often banners alone r 20 or 30$$ alone i believe...so that wouldnt leave much left over to go into the team account for funds for other team stuff..

where are u gettin em made ? Me and Matt know a guy who knows a chicks brothers former hair stylists cousin, who is not in the sticker business.... he sells clocks. but he knows this dudes ex wifes new husbans sons piano teacher who also makes stickers on the side... let us NO.
