I was gonna get MTECs...but when i went to go buy them the guy said that MTECs are discontinued..is that true? thats what he told me..( I went to Pacific Mall, i dont trust a lot of the car stuff there, plus they overcharge, but sometimes you find good deals..and you can bargain with some of them) But yeah Nokyas are amazing. A cheap substitute until i Retrofit.

I'm just using Silverstars, and I'm very happy with them. Nice bright, white light, and I haven't had anyone flashing me their highbeams.
Anyone else here tried them?
I also heard that there were some problems with Nokyas burning out quickly, I was wondering if there's any truth to that rumour, or if it's just bs.
ironchef...IMO i think you should colour match your headlights to your rims. that would be dirty. Not sure how the body match blue would look...
I know it's hard to picture, but it actually looks very nice. I think Acura wouldn't do that from the factory if it didn't look good. Or maybe a navy blue would look good...semi-blackout.
Matching them to my rims is risky, but it might look great if done right. I admit I'm a bit scared of going with a colour that's too metallic.
Anyways, there's some sweet cars up in this *****. Keep up the good work guys.

The Silverstars are supposed to be really really good. I think i'm gonna switch to them once my bulbs burn out.... plus Crappy Tire warranties the silverstars for 2 years so even better.

That's why I got them from CT. As long as I don't lose my receipt I can have them warrantied as amny times as I want within the warranty period. And for $25 bucks apiece, I don't mind them lasting me 2yrs.
You're right though Pharoh, they don't last as long as regular bulbs. I think the tradeoff is worth it for the price and warranty.
Check out this page for the specifics: http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...on/default.htm

If I decide to black them out, and I have any questions I'll take you up on that
Also, I don't have any plans to tint the tails. I like the way they look.
FaiJai: what kind of wheels are those? I'm diggin' the look. If Darth Vader drove a Civic...

Right now I have the Eurolite HyperWhite's... they're ok. I actually have a brand new spare set sitting in my room. I'll sell it for $10bux if anyone wants it.
