oh yeah i spotted a 01/02 silver coupe w/stck rims and the honda Aero kit on it at 7-11 yesterday...younger guy driving..mebbe 20ish. Sound familiar to anyone?

I dresssed my engine up a bit. Wire covers and a strut bar added. Got a lil carried away with the wire covers.. lol but i think it loooks hot!!

I spent my sunday washing,claybarring,and then waxing my girl.She's so shiny and smooth and also very hump-tastic, 'cept i keep sliding right off her! and sometime this week my Neuspeeds are going on! wooooo! yay for lowering! FINALLY. here's my question for y'all since you look at my car a fair bit....once im lowered, should i just leave the hubs off? i hate my hubcaps.... or will that look ghetto? then again i feel i can pull off the ghetto look quite well....

Matt the ride on the Tokicos is quite firm. I like it cause it feels sporty but I can see why some people would think they are too harsh. Overall, I am so happy to be off of my stock shocks. Its a huge difference.

I gotta see this engine dress up too.

so its my first post here ever... iv met a few of u already and am related to some. i also have dark covers.. but my car is a bone stock sedan (minus my bug deflector upgrade).

i havent had any problems from five-o with my covers..

matt s -> there is a lot of blue under your hood. it looks good though. u really need a nice bug deflector. its sleek, and adds character.

i also cant figure out how to make a picture small enough for me to use as my display one. any help would be appreciated.

and i need rim advice... for 18's.... 40 series tires or 35... is the difference in ride quality that big?!

and.. springs to coil overs. pros and cons to both. cause i can get a set of coil overs for cheep but i hear they are no good to have and springs are a lot better. i have no idea.

... sorry for the length of my post. but it is my first one and i am going to make it count. i dont want to start a new thread either... i will just add to this unnecessarily long thread.

Hi Mike, welcome to the site! Im lookin foreward to seeing u at a meet. Who are u related to on here? And that bug deflector upgrade is f'in sweet. I have been thinking about upgrading my hood with the purchase of a deflector as well. I was also thinking of gettin an oversized metal wing to bolt onto my roof.
Sare, IMO id go with the caps... the straight black rim look is kinda ghetto as u said b4... i dunno...

Hey Mike and welcome! it's nice to have another sedan kickin around Niagara!
As for rims/tires i got no idea, but last night i lowered my 'vic on Neuspeed Sports and left stock struts...the ride isn't as bad as i thought, i mean its noticeable, but in a good way. I currently have 1 finger gap in the front and MAYBE 1 in the back. im almost tucking. Oh and im rolling on stock 14" STEELIES. haha sorry Mark and Mir i left the hubs off. Seeing as how i live on the east side of welland it's only right i drive a ghetto looking car.
And i also took my bug deflector off this past weekend.
1 teeny mod and 1 uber mod.
I'm excited for cruise night! We need to make sure we all cruise in together so that we may drop the jaws of those already present and make them green w/envy.Plus this'll be the only way we'll get to park together...i was there the last 2 weeks and its PACKED by 830.I say we get there for 8.At the latest.ANyone have any problems with this?

im feeling very assertive today and feel like getting us organized for cruise night....so that we may have an organized night of drooling.

hey mike like i said before, i would go 205/40/18, but thats just me. And definately go with the springs, stay away from the coil overs.

And guys, dont let the $14.00 blue wire loom fool you. I have tonnnes of cash under the hood. lol

Cant wait til sunday though.. its gonna be tighhhhhtt

Here is my thoughts:

For 18 inch rims you gotta be able to slam that car or it wont look right.
For 18 inch rims dont get wider tires than 205...like matt said 205/40/18 would be ok provided you can go low.

As for coilovers: if you are talking about a full set with the spring and the shock together that is way better than spings. If you are just talking about springs that can adjust height I'd say just go with spings. You will never adjust them anyway cause every time you do you need an alignment. Plus the canada winter will seize them anyway.

So I just saw Sare's car dropped on the Neuspeed's and I must say it is looking sweet. All black car rockin' the steelies looks way better than you'd expect. Props Sare.

and i think im going to get the 35s. and i dont believe i can get 205 with the 35s, thats what i was told.... jer would 215s be too big even if i only want about a 1.5 - 1.7 inch drop? would the problem be with the tire rubbing or what??

I guess if you cant get 205 in 18 you have to get 215. I am running 215 but only with 17 inch rims. I almost never rub but i dont know if 18's would rub. I guess if you drop 1.5 to 1.7 inch youd be safe.

well i used a clay bar on my car this past weekend and the bug deflector was in the way for the hood and it irritated me to no end so off it came.I'm in the process of getting the colour matched hood molding,no worries...the chrome ain't gonna be around for long
just you wait till you see the steelies. they aren't 1/2 as bad as i had thought they'd be...lol
and YES. Welland is the ghetto. And oh how i love it. <3

im dumped 2" on 215 45 17 and have never rubbed.. but i dont have a camber kit. Mike u will be fine with whatever u decide, i was jus considering how bad the roads are and messin up ur rims with such thin rubber.

And yes best buy sounds like a goood spot to meet
