fair enough. yeah i filled up yesterday. for some reason on the east side of welland all yesterday up until about 230am when i got home this morning...our gas was 98.3. it crazy. on the other side of welland you couldn't find it lower than 1.10

i dont know what i will do with interior anymore.. im thinking of just doing what i have now in black and then seeing how it goes... noone is going as extreme anymore and i dont want to be the only one..

the hood looks good jer, nething subtle on ur whip will look tight.. i basically wanna take everythiing ive painted and sanded so far to the body shop.. either paint it myself, or get them to paint and clear for me.. im assuming it wont be $400, cause were only doing a few small pieces.

And in regards to the gas prices, i try avoiding to drive.. lol its not worth it nemore. I managed to fill up the morning before it all went to **** at .98, which is still rediculous.

Ok so i've decided on the Alpine CDA 9851-i downgraded from the 9853 cause i've heard/read of multiple issues with the 9853 and it's new glide technology freezing up and being stupid in general.

looks like a really good deck, pretty powerful too and I like all the preouts: front, rear and sub. I only have front and sub on mine. I dont think that Glide touch thing would be worth the extra hassle. Its a novelty thing that you wouldnt even care about in a couple of months.

Sare if you have the cheese get componets for your front and a 2 channel amp to power them. Thats what I am going to do. If not some decent 3 ways would also be good (my current set up). They sell lots on Ebay...I got 2 for my front for about $60 a ways back.

Also watch the mounting depth..you wanna be able to roll down your windows. But I think most 6.5" with a spacer will fit just dandy.

yeah its weird i used to occasionally think about gas mileage when i drove but now its constant. I coast up to lights now, accelerate evenly, roll up windows to preserve aerodynamic integrity and draft other cars on the highway (j/k about that last one)

Im sure it can be done but at great cost. When the price of gas reached $3.00 a litre it might be worth it.

A was also thinking of swapping out my engine and getting holes put in my floor to be the first to have the Fred Flinstone JDM conversion yo!

i have a solution to ALL of ur gas problems. what i do is drive downhill everywhere i go. it werks! im down for waxing on saturday too... so im pretty much crashong ur party wether u like it or not.
