OK I was gonna buy an Integra shell and put an engine into it but it has been sold. Was gonna buy a nice 99 Integra GS for $8000 but it was sold. So now I'm thinking of trading my 02 Civic Si-G coupe auto for an 02-03 manual.

Car for car assuming everything is the same how much would I have to put in?

Reality my car has small paint chips that you can really see on a black car in the front from driving the 401 everyday. I was hit in the back last year and had my rear bumper replaced because of a dent. My bro loves to kiss my house so twice he scraped it along the house in my drive way front left and back right, only aftermath of that is are some deep scratches. The car has like 83,000km on it. Everything else the car is good, inside is good, engine is good but a little dirty. Never had any problems.

So now if I traded this in for another 02 civic si-g with about 60-80k on it but in standard. How much am I looking at? Would there be a big difference trading it towards a new car dealer vs a used car dealer?

Reason I want to trade is to drive the stick, but I wouldn't mind getting a silver too because I will never buy black if I had the choice again.

how about i sell you my stock 5-sp tranny and you swap the transmission? it'll be easier than way

Well even if they did trade car for car, no money, you're still losing a grand cuz AT costs about 1000 more than a MT.
Id go to the dealership if i were you and see what they could.

I'm not sure if that's easier, but how much are you looking at? how much would an install cost?

I don't mind losing the money for the auto but i'm sure when it comes to used cars auto and stick doesn't affect the price. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to pay like $2000 for the trade.
