Toronto Honda

hey guys

well the other day TO Honda called to see how my car was doing. They call after a yr of ownership, and it was a yr Monday 26 July, 2004.

Anyways so they mentioned sthg abt being the top dealership and blah blah blah so i told the lady in a calm and kind manner that i will not "bring it home to TO Honda" cuz plain and simply, their employees suck at driving. And my bro has an accord so thats a lot of lost business for just one family.

Well what had happened was, when i went there for my first service (it was february, damn cold, i wasnt doing it myself. besides, only costed me $11 for everything). Well thats what i thought. The moron who parked my car decided to back into a steel fence and ripped some paint off, leaving it stripped to the bone. The patch was black and is starting to **** ME OFF. So I told the lady i had called TO honda, but my calls were never returned by someone who could do sthg. So now she tells me shes leaving a note with the manager and he'll get back to me by saturday (Tomorrow)

BTW i didnt notice until i got home so couldnt complain on the spot.

Just wanted your opinions on what ya think they'll do. Anyone have experience with TO honda?
I said I dont feel the need to pay for the paint or labor cuz it was their screwup. Id love it if they fixed it but will it be noticeable after its repainted "professionaly" by the dealership?

Thanks in advance for input!

DAMN! well thanks for your honesty yo

I told them that they are hated by car enthusiasts who are in need of the dealerships the most for parts, paint, etc. So that made them feel bad, cuz they realized they could be generating more revenue. And i also said this will be a topic within the club, so what they do will have consequences, but they are chosing their fate. As you can see i layed it on thick, now its just a matter of time telling.

hm...i think i will ask them to replace the WHOLE bumper...hehe

anyways do you guys think that if they paint a portion of it, will it be noticeably different, or will it blend. i doubt it will blend but seeing as how ive never been in a position of this sort, i wouldnt know.

any info/input will be appreciated. BTW im going to show this to TO honda's manager so dont hold back any input, good or bad!

usually.. if a portion needs to be repainted... the whole part will be repainted.

in your case, the whole bumper..... depending on what colour your car is.. the colour may not turn out as bad as it might........ all depends on the person who mixes the paint and the way it's applied.

worth the try.. but i dont think they'll replace the whole bumper.. unless you complain, complain.... complain. haha

Why not "upsize" it, and go to ACURA dealership

I routinely go out of my way to go to Acura in Markham for EL servicing.... Sometimes they have hot looking asian admin chicks (either the young one, or the MILFy one!)

Oil change shouldn't be any more than Honda, is it? It's like $28.88 for standard oil change.

Shouldn't void any warranties either...
