You finally got it done! Congrats on the swap! How much did it cost you, and where did you get it done? How does everything feel... clutch, shifting? Is it smooth and easy as if you bought the car stick? (assuming u've driven stick 7thGen's before)
smokedcivic: really.... i think i'll need a silver piece...like the outer piece..
any one that wants to do manual conversion i wouldn't recommended because it's alot of work and time and i got mine done for $3000 at optional performance
and all the parts were new from honda except the tranny all the other stuff were new
because couldn't found used part..
and everything felt pretty good... it's stiff... it's more stiffer than the stock one..
like clutch and shifting..... compared to my friend's 2001 civic si....

yeah...we got the car done for darknights.
crazy story actually....most of the parts in at the beginning of the week.
we got the car running late wednesday nite and took the car out for a drive...some crazy trucker dude sleeping on the street threw a crow bar @ my car...he got charged and somehow we finished repairing all the damage before dkn.

the swap would take about 1-2weeks.
if your car is manual already the swap is about $12000.
if your car is auto then add another $1500 so $13500.
thats for everything parts and labour, hasport mounts, jdm k20a, etc.

what about type s ? or what is i bring in a engine tranny and ecu and all the other parts i need to get from you guys?
and also how much would your shop charge for 4 wheel disc brake.. if i bring in all the parts so just labour.

type s would be $11500...if you supply the engine, tranny and ecu $7500 for everything else
4 wheel disc brake conversion would be $450 for labour
add another $150 if you want to change over the brake booster and master

You should have just traded it in that what I did it costed me $2000 and I got a new car in the end. Had a 2001 NBP Auto with 47000 on it took it to honda traded it in for 2002 silver Manual, I think it was better that way.
