I posted this in the forced induction section...but you guys live aroudn me and also give quicker replies

hey guys

askin for a friend... how much can you grab a supercharger for a 6thgen siR? like with all the parts needed?

turbo is the only way to go

SC is good for reliability and teh power is always there
boost is good but it has turbo lag if it wasnt tune properly

i have boost and i love the sound and the G-force after 2200rpm

Whether the car is tuned or not you will always experience some kind of lag in a turbo system... Mechanically there is no way eliminate lag...

true dat but i guess fine tuning can eliminate the most lag vs tune poorly turbo car

i'm just saying for the money turbo gives you more potential compared to supercharging.

a supercharger is not worth $4000 (new)
