well i was thinking recently, what i would need ($ and parts) to do a turbo and type s swap into my 7thgen si. how much do you guys figure it would cost me? how bout for just the turbo alone? or the engine swap alone? im willing to entertain ideas lol

.... just a side note...im dreaming...i have no where near the money right now to do it, but i plan on it in a couple of years when im done school...just trying to get an idea on how much it would be and what i would need...also some good trustworthy shops in the GTA to do it...or a skilled 7thgen member who takes payments in beer

i think u can get the type s done for 6000 around if u can find the engine good price..
let said if u get the engine for 3000 than u'll probably can get everything done for 6000

a lot...u want to turbo a K20? damn nice dream but it will run u a lot for the engine and the turbo parts alone, labour is another story
might as well get the RSX then turbo it, less hassle and probably less money than doing that to a 7th gen

maybe the first few KM then it will died like there's no tomorrow

when u are doing serious mod like that, stage 3 clutch is the minimum requirement and also have diff is a good idea

woot..yea i'd just sell Si and get Type-s, and turbo it.
si 19,000 Type-s 24,000 .. I bet it would cost at least 6g to get the type-s motor installed in ur si. and probably about 5G for the turbo.

YES a D17's STOCK clutch can take a turbocharged motor. I had mine at 11psi for close to a year with my stock clutch...

Hondawrex has a 7thgen with a K20a (TypeR) and a cybernation stage 3 turbo kit putting out close to 500whp... I'd do it... But I would personally go all motor if I went K20...

LOL by the time you're done school, you'll be too busy working and paying back what you owe right now or you'll be busy saving up for that house/condo/apartment etc.

seriously i would rather have a house than mod my car....i will start saving now for downpayment buy my own house and move out

if u want the best bang for the buck...i'd go with a k20a3 and turbo it.

most power and speed k20a2 with turbo.

you have to remember that the honda werx turbo k20 is a fully built motor with a lowered compression. you mine as well buy the k20a2 and just slap on a turbo

JDM k20a motor goes for around $6000-6500
HASPORT Mounts $1000

there are alot of smaller things that u need to get if the engine doesn't come with certain things.

yeah... It has a CYBERNATION turbo kit... i dont have to tell you it's built...
