civic SIR seat swap

Hi! I have new civic SIR seats and I am trying to make them fit. Has any of you done the swap? There is only the 4th rear outer bolt that is missing to be bolted. It is missing half an inch to fit perfectly, even when I step on it. Should I bend the rail? I was also thinking of welding an extension or drilling? What do you think?

thanks

See ya!

i've just got the bolt in there helping to hold it down..
don't bend the rail, then it won't fit over that riser in the floor..

i was thinking of welding a piece on but just haven't gotten around to it yet (been a year now..no problems yet)

btw, i believe i was the first

Yes the 4th bolt hole is just about an inch too high. I reset the srs light and it looks perfect. My friend can sold, he is building trailers for a living so he will make something for me.

I just need to find the back seat now to complete the swap

finished installing the driver seat

I have finally finished installing the seat. My friend has some soldering equipment and he really did a good job, we soldered a pplate over the end with a hole in it. It is like factory job, it fits perfect and the seat is like factory bolted to my car now. The plastic cover from the rail even fit. I just need to order the plastic cover for the SIR for the other side because mine does not fit.
