Question removing resonator

need some advice on removing my resonator. should i or not?

first off, will this damage my engine if i do this? i heard that when you remove the resonator it leaves a gap that allows excess rocks and debris to get caught in the air filter causing constant need to replace it. is this true?

is it easy to remove by yourself and how does it sound with a custom exhaust?

are you talking about the Intake resonator or the exhaust resonator????

taking either one off will make your car louder and have better air flow...

when you get and intake you loose the intake resontor... its just pretty much the intake directed to the throttle body... (better flow)

when you get a mid pipe for your exhaust you have the choise of leaving or taking off the resonator.... this is like a secondary muffler to lessen the noise .... and taking it off will make it fairly louder...
