Question Kaminari or Octane front?

Hey guys, i need some opinions on what to buy for my sedan. I sold my Xenon front, so now i need something new. I really like the Xenon a lot, but too many people in London have the Xenon. I want to stand out and be different, hence the reason i drive a 4 door. I have JDM sides and the Xenon rear. What should i get, the Kaminari front bumper or the VIS Octane front bumper? I want urethane only, and i heard VIS makes the octane in urethane as well. So throw me some opinions. Thanks!

Kaminari full front is my next buy.. I think I found it from SpoilersTO for 710 taxes in.. I think Mike was a bit more expensive on it, but it's Kaminari.. The Octane would be cheaper because they get VIS direct and somehow cheaper.. My buddy got a full VIS kit from Mike for his '88 hatch and didn't spend too much, considering it was a mixed up kit!
My choice: kaminari Front

Julie is a good person to deal with.
but if you can find another place that will do the paint job cheaper... or roughly the same price... do it some where else.

or get feedback from other paint shops
but dont do it there! .... 'cause they did a **** *** job on mine. when i got it repainted at a different place.. (b/c the paint kept chipping away).. the guy said the paint was too thick.. and... and it was just a pure **** *** job.

i even brought it back to that place at SpoilersTO to get it repainted and it was done the same **** *** way.

not SpoilersTO itself.. but the paintshop that they're associated with.

I like the Boxem too but it is fiberglass. I've seen somewhere on the net that sells what look exactly like the VIS Octane front in urethane. Anyone know where i can get the Octane front in urethane in our region?

Hey man, check out this site.. I think they have what you're looking for but you may have to do some supplier research.

AznSaint -> Yea, Julie was really good to deal with! I have a shop that's going to paint my entire car for me.. I know the guy personally so I may get a deal and they do a great job! The price I was quoted from Julie was the unpainted price, Kaminari is just straight up expencive!

i think i would get the kaminari. Gives your car a very clean look, plus not too many people have it. Id go with kaminari.

Heyyy no problem Bruno! Hopefully you don't pay too much for shipping and stuff from that site! Try shopping around and using the price on that site as your base price or something..

I just called a friend in T.O and he says it will cost like 250 to ship it here!!! God damn!! I gotta find it here in Canada somewhere. Surely, someplace in T.O can get it for me.

I like the look of the kaminari front but where the heck are you supposed to put your license plate? The octane looks like the plate could easily hang in that large gap in the front. The kaminari's gap doesn't seem to be big enough to put the plate in there.

Hey thanks joski. That's the black widow knock-off. Do they carry the Octane? I'll check.

O.K. It looks like they only have the Octane in fiberglass. They do have the Black widow in urethane and the R33. I like the black widow, the R33 i'm not too sure about.

Hey what do you guys think of the Black Widow? I can get a knock off in urethane. Here's what the black widow looks like on a sedan.

Duuuude do it up! If you can get it in Urethane and it fits good then go for it!
It'll be unique all in its own because everyone usually has the glass version of that bumper!

Is that from the ExtremeDimensions site that you can get the BW in urethane? Try talking to Mike to see if he can get a price.. My friend wanted a spoiler off ED for his 4th gen but Mike said the shipping or something is expencive.. But I think he said something about trying to get ExtremeDimensions direct or something.. I dunno, give him a call and find out!

O.K. Unauthorized Performance does not deal with Extreme Dimensions. They said though, that VIS now makes some kits in urethane. They make the OCtane in urethane. YESSS!!!! THey have already closed for Christmas holidays so i'll have to wait till the new year.
