I keep mine a bit higher, even though I'm running stock rubber on stock rims, on stock height...

I set mine to 32-33psi, only because I'm too lazy to regularly check on the pressure... I didn't check it for like 6 months, and some of my tires dropped to like 28psi! I've driven on 35-36psi before (stupid dealer set it that high), and DAMN, my suspension felt like ****. 30psi feels a bit too floaty for me...

I always hear people with thinner profile tires (ex. 215/40/R17) should set theirs HIGHER to prevent the tires from hitting the ground... What IS higher??? The tires max out at 44psi............

they door of the car recommends like 30psi but the tire companies dont want it that low because it's gonna run too saggy and the tires are not gonna perform the way they should. The car might run smoother since the tires are not as hard but you will ware the tire right to the edge. If it's a 32 psi tire put 28 psi to allow expanding.....if it's a 35psi tire then put the tire at 30-32 psi to allow expanding .....if its a 44psi tire then put them to 40 psi because the tire is meant to have higher pressure in them if you dont beleive me read the other writing on the sidewall of the 44 max psi and it should say run 40 psi cold somewhere on it only on max 44 pressure tires tho since they are an odd psi......but remember you gotta leave room for expanding because when your driving the tires pressure goes up so if you should always pump them up b4 tha long drive......and make sure you dont use them gas station gauges they are used by 100's of people a day and loose their accuracy...

it's on the tire... most of time +/- 2 psi,
+ psi = easier for motor to drive car forward, but less traction when braking

- psi is the reverse
