Shannonville Mon Aug 25th
Monday August 25th....Shannonville has pay per lap track racing open to the public.
Track opens at 5:30 pm till dusk.
No special equipment required.
$5 for 1 lap, $20 for 5 laps.
I'll be there testing out my driving skill, and my 2001 coupe equiped with AEM cold air intake, Eibach sportsline springs, Treme vented crossdrilled slotted rotors with ceramic pads (front only) and 17" Montegi rims with Dunlop SP905 205/40.
Sure 1/4 mile is fun, but nothing beats the thrill of road course racing.
So, are you with me, or are you just too scared! Haha.
I'll be leaving Oakville around 3pm. Maybe if we get enough guys together, we can all meet up somewhere and head down as one.

a. you dont need your car tuned by then
b. you dont need performance tires.
c. a helmet is a good idea, but for the lapping days they're not required.
just go a push your car until you feel comfortable ... i went to shannonville for a lapping day with a stock Si with stock tires ... only aftermarket products i have are tints, but your windows are down anyway.

I wonder if CUE will be there or is he and his car too pretty to race. j/k

Rep Power: 0 4 hours to drive to Shannonville? From toronto it's only like 2 hours. 
I'll go but can I sit in somebody else's car and do laps? I don't feel much like burning up my tires and having my subs slide around in my trunk.
Also I don't think my D17A1 can handle all this high revving.

yeah, its 4 hours to drive to Shannonville, cuz I'm in London! That's 2 hours from Toronto and 2 more hours to Shannonville...
but, count me in, I think I'm going...just wanna have fun before the end of summer...before going back to school...but still depends if its gonna rain or not...if no rain, you will see my D17A1 racing!

all the track so so damn far from toronto...i will try to go adn convince my friends to go too
spleency: drag burned more rubber i think than circuit course. just go and have fun in a lap or two
i think most ppl doing lap want as little weight in their car as possible so it's hard to ask someone to give u shot gun while they go crazy on the track

shannonville... is that the tracks name? 'cause im wondering if thats the one in bowmanville???
if so.. its like 1.5hr drive from d/t toronto... at the most. not even i think.. if its no traffic.
i might be in if i dont work...
but not sure if i wanna do laps or drag in my heavy *** rims. plus tire weight on top.
