Just wondering where I can pick up a pair of racing seats w/ brackets that are relatively inexpensive. Sparco or Recaro. Preferably reclinable, black or grey in colour. Used or brand new, just as long as its in good condition with no visible wear. Anyone know of good deals?

(Recaro SRD's in black would be perfect!)

Thanks

cheap doesnt go with reclinable seats cuz any reclinable will start off $500 or higher each
if you want cheapest seats then Sparco Spirnt will do for $300-350 each

and Recaros are not cheap too...the used JDM Recaro are going for $1500+ in the market now

go to clubSi.com and in canada for sale forum, look for DB8 (Chris) he has 3 used pairs of JDM seats for sale

good luck

ya i went there too, they didnt have any seats so i didnt bother asking. but next time i go i'll ask, 700 for a pair of replica SRDs seems ok. ive got that deal before at REV a while back but w/ rails. i figure if im gonna spend that much cash i might as well just get the sparco's, the only downside is that its not reclinable -- but then again when do i ever recline my seat, its not as if i sleep in my car... or do i... haha

thanks

non reclinable seats would kill your back if u are driving for more than 1 hr
that's why i suggest reclinable

if you have a coupe then the passenger side should be at least reclinable so ppl can get into teh back

i have a sedan so it doenst matter but i still prefer reclinable

good luck

ya i know what u mean, but i heard theres a way that u can angle the seat itself so its not so upright. but u are right, i better put more thinking to this....

so u have non-reclinable seats? which one? how does it feel in terms of long drives and getting in and getting out of the car? thanks!

i dont have any racing seats in my car
but i sat in 2 ppl's car with sparco non-reclinable and it is pain in the *** to get in and out and i dont really like it
so if i ever get aftermarket seats, it has to be recclinable.

and another thing. i checked under my stock seats yesterday and theres all these wires there! im guessing its an airbag sensor to detect weight or whatnot. does anyone have any idea what it is?
