i am 22 and have a clean record since 16 years old and i am holding a G licence now and still pay $2100 a year full coverage (principal driver but the car is not under my name)
my insurance company quoted my uncle a little over $3000 a year for a new s2000. i'll check with my insurance company on monday to confirm.
Get an Accord V6 before you get the RSX-S... it's in the same price ball park, but you get so much more car. Including tons-o-torque.
If you're in the budget, then I'd still get the Accord... 2.4L iVTEC.. still decently quick (does about 7.5s 0-60mph with stick), comfortable as hell, roomy, classy, etc etc
That engine is Honda's workhorse.. it's also used in the CRV and Element. So you can bet your *** there's going to be forced induction kit for it (unlike our cars right now).
And it starts at the price of a Civic SiR (no quicker, yet smaller, and less prestiege).
