How about Six Flags America in MD.. that seems to be a central location for us all

Ticket prices are as follows:

Six Flags: $36 at the gate (IF YOU BUY TICKETS ONLINE, YOU SAVE $10!!-- only $26) parking is $9

Kings Dominion: $43 at gate, online tickets are $40, and if we have a group of more than 15, we can get a group rate of only $30 per ticket! parking is $7

Kings dominion is ten times better and it is not as ghetto as Six flags. I say we go to Kings dominion on the 26th, cuz as of right now i dont know if I can go to the Mid atlantic meet. we could meet up real early and then roll up there and get there when they open and then hit all the good rides and then just chill for the rest of the day and do what ever. I say this is a good Ideal. I might be able to bring maybe 1 or 2 more people as well. so the more we get the better we get the prices for. Also if you are able to or want to bring other people i think this should be fine unless no one agrees to it, Im just saying becuase if we dont have 15 peeps but we can bring other peeps and make 15 total than it would be cheaper for us. So whats everyones opinion on that.
lets plan for July 26th at kings Dominion at around 630-700am or earlier in Va somewhere and the Md crew can meet in bowie or somewhere where it is central for everyone and then just hit and take over 95 the whole way there.

I am game for Kings Dominion, we could easily get 15 people to come. I'm not sure if we need to call ahead and get the discount tickets in advance, but I will find out and let everyone know, so don't worry about that.

yeah we can get 15 people easily.......... also, in order to get on the rides with no wait we are going to have to leave around 5-6am since it is almost 2 hour drive..

I'm game for this. I know for a FACT that I do not wanna go to Six Flags! We live right down the street from there and it's ghetto as hell. BIG thumbs down on that. King's Dominion on the other hand sounds nice!

Six Flags in NJ is ok. But I'd rather go to KD.

Yeah, I'm with Mex. I'm sure you guys can request something off. There's never going to be a time where EVERYBODY is gonna have the same exact schedule when something's goin' on. I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad here, but if we decide on a Monday and you wanna go you may not have a choice. Sometimes I hate requesting things off (especially if I've done it a lot around the time I want off).

I think we should do this sometime in early August. Mainly because Curt is going to be starting a new schedule July 27th and he will not know what it is until about the week before and he won't be able to request anything off at the beginning of a new schedule. So if we do it on the 26th, it might be cutting it a little close for us. And our best friend is celebrating her birthday that weekend, too. Plus that Monday is Curt's birthday. So as you see, that's a little hectic! How about the weekend after the Mid-Atlantic meet? August 8,9 or 10?

ARGH. So many things to do! lol

Well Curt told me today that he heard his schedule might now be getting switched unitl Sept. 1. If that's true, KD is still possible the weekend of the 26th in July. And he reminded me that our best friend is having her little 'get-together' the weekend before that. Soooo.....it looks like so far at the moment, things are working out for the 26th. But as usualy things will probably change.
