Curt was having the same problem ever since he dropped it. Sometimes it can be caused from a strut rubbing against something or smashed bushings and washers.

Is it when you turn the wheel or while you're driving? You might need to go to a shop and get it checked out. The dude Curt went to when he got his Koni's put on, replaced all that junk and the clicking noise went away.

Curt has a hook-up for a good mechanic. If you need some help, holla. He's got a reasonable price.

if its more of a popping noise, and you have your car lowered, all that happened was you (or whoever lowered your ride) didnt align the springs correctly in the strut/spring holder thingy hehe, anyway, its no big deal, if you recently dropped your car, that noise should go away after a while (your springs will settle into place) if its been lowered for a long time I would say have it professionally looked at. I lowered my car myself with progress lowering springs and that was a few months ago, they were popping like crazy right after I finished the install, and its been a few months and the popping has almost stopped, only once in a while will it pop now. Its just my opinion, but I wouldnt worry about it. Again thats only my opinion. If ya wanna meet up I am down, cant promise that I can help you though, let me know.

freddy, where did you read how to fix it? I'm curious to know what you think is causing it. I'm available all day sunday and monday to meet up.

I still don't get how people are confused about the popping noise when turning. When you turn, the entire strut should turn, so the spring doesn't need to move at all. If the spring is moving, it's either because the bearing ring in the upper mount has gone bad, or the nut in the center of the strut tower isn't torqued down completely. how can the spring not be aligned right?

hey mex, heres what I think happened to me, my struts have a thread on them that wasnt "deep" enough for my springs, in otherwords, wasnt enough thread on the factory struts to hold my springs the way they should be held, but struts wear and in time, i wont have the pop noise,.... instead ill have that bounce bounce bounce cause my struts will have worn to the point where my springs support the front, which is bad and makes me replace my struts. you get it?

well nevermind, i got it fixed, (i hope)

sometimes it goes away for a while and comes back... usually its dirt that gets stuck in between the lubricating crap.. i put some WD-40 on where the spring turns because it made it do a clicking sound when i turned. (i didn't put it on the rubber cause i know it will eat it )

so anyways thanks! maybe we can still meet up

WD 40? lol, give it 3 days and it'll be back if the spring is turning, it needs to be fixed

NotNew: what your saying makes sense; i guess it's actually the springs fault for compressing too much.
