Another meet somewhere
I just got my new car and I missed the DIY meet which could have been helpful for clearing my lights. It would be nice if we had another meet soon. It's suppose to get warm by the end of the week. My lights need to be cleared so if anybody could do it for me it would be nice. I don't want to mess mine up again.

Hey marcus or Ren. do you know if i have to do anything to prep my eyebrows or should i just start painting and then do everything else. marcus you have done alot of paint stuff so please help me out.
since your eyebrows are on the outside of your vehicle and it sits right in front of your car, you need to scuff up the eyebrows with fine grit sandpaper, and then primer them, and then paint them. these steps are crucial because if you skip a step the paint will flake and chip off within weeks.

I'm ordering my Koni's soon to be coupled with my Goldline springs. Another DIY meet this month would be awesome. I'm definitely up for it. Just on the weekend whenever.

I just ordered my Koni's yesterday, so I should be ready for a meet any time starting next weekend. If you have goldline springs to install, please due me the honor of getting mine installed first cuz I started and finished the group buy.

Curt
I haven't painted any exterior pieces of my car so im not sure. You want to make sure it can stand up to the weather conditoins thou.
When i painted my interior i didn't prime anything but i will on my next project.
the center consoles are pretty smooth. i just put on a few light coats ( i think it was 2 or 3 light blue and one dark blue to fade into the light blue) and 3 clear coats
so on so for the exterior you know you want at least three
by the way, haven't had any problem with chipping
So what the extimated date on the DIY meet(part 2)???????
