Selling my Tein SS full-coilovers; camber kits
Mods: I'm posting this in the Mid Atlantic forum because I really can only sell these locally, that is DC, MD, VA, PA.
Ok, I am selling my Tein SuperStreet adjustable coilovers (Civic 2001+ EM2/ES1, part # DSA22-KUSS2). The Teins were installed at the end of Sept last year, and have about 8-10k miles on them, mostly highway, no large potholes or other traumatic circumstances. They come with all the stock parts you have to reuse, that I bought new at that time, so they are ready to be installed as is. They are in very good shape externally, and I can not tell any problems at all with them.
I am selling them because I drive almost 100 miles to and from work everyday, and the roads arent the best, so I've just gotten tired of the tight ride, in favor of the stock cushy suspension. Dont get me wrong, these are great and I would definately reccomend them, and if I didnt drive so much, I'd keep em, but I just am tired of them going to waste on my daily driven car, when they are such excellent high performance suspension components. They are complete with all packaging and manuals, as well as the adjustment wrenches, hardware, and stickers. I'm asking $900. (I paid $1150 for the coilovers, and ~$180 for the stock parts)
Please reply if you are or may be interested at all.

I've got dibs on it for now peeps (Behind Robbclark...since I just realized he posted first) Sorry Robb
And this is a FULL kit, right? I don't know much about coilovers, but I've heard about people blowing their stock struts with the "partial" coilover kits. So if I bought it I wouldn't have to use any components from my stock suspension?

Hey man, good to talk to ya again
Yes, these are full coilovers, not sleeved coilovers like Ground Controls. They come with all the parts that normally would need to be reused (like the upper mounts, rear dust cover, some rubber parts for the upper mounts, and some washers), and they are installed and ready to go. The only thing you'd need in addition to these are camber adjustment kits, and someone to install them

Mex: Nope! It turns out that after doing the math, it was cheaper to keep my car...and I'm glad I did!
Slikor: Maybe we can arrange a time when I could come up and see the kit. Did you get my PM about the payment situation? What do you think?
Overall, is the Tien SS kit a kit that will last me the life of my car?
[B]P.S. I just realized that Robbclark posted before me, so this is all in case Robb doesn't want them. Sorry 'bout that Robb

go ahead bro, they are all yours!! Don't say i never did anything for ya!! haha just kidding. I thought about it, but I think i really want to wait for the tokico's plus some springs.
Thanks, and sorry 'bout that...guess I just got a little bit carried away there
OH...IMPORTANT QUESTION: Will this kit work on a 2002? I have a 2002 EX Coupe Auto, and I noticed that on tornactive.com the top of the line Tein kit was only for 2002 and up, and the SS kit had 2001 listed. Is there a difference between the 2001 and 2002 EX coupes?
And Slikor, any way you might consider $800?

I am almost positive it will fit 2002 models, but 2003 models I read somewhere on here that the upper mount is different or something. But, the reason the Tein FLEX would be listed as 2002-up is because that is only intended for the SI (EP3) which is 2002+, even though I think it still fits for us. I'll tell you what, if no one else offers my asking price before too long, you'll be first in line for them, ok.

Cool, keep me posted
You saw my post before I could change the $800 to $850, because I noticed all the manuals, packing material, and tools came with them. Sorry about that, and let me know what you plan on doing
He still has them for sale, so if anyone wants to step up to the plate, feel free. I can't buy until late March.

yeah, i sold my wheels, they were White Motegi MR-7 17" wheels, and I had Toyo Proxes FX4 215/45/17 tires. I had 35% tint all around, but I had to remove it to pass the MD safety inspection...so yeah my car is stock looking except for the headlights and taillights.
