Projector vs Halo

Which headlight is better by stats of value, performance, look and quality? Projector or halo headlights?

i have heard some ppl having problems with the Angel Eye projectors, and i dont like how they look, plus they seemed cheaply made when i installed SimplySLB's a while ago. i have TYC projectors and those are the only ones i'd reccommend, i love them and they have not leaked or had any problems in the well over 6 months i've had them.

HA! Thanks for calling my headlights cheap Seth! I like how they look, but yea....they are defininetly NOT the best quality. Go with TYC's and make your own halo if you want it that bad!

hehe, sorry Steph, but i told it like i saw it. besides, i think yours look nice because the chrome on white is tight, and i will admit the halo is very sweet looking so...

as far as brightness, i dunno about the Angel Eye projectors, but my TYCs have a very widely spread out pattern, but there is not that much intensity in front of the vehicle (it is mostly concentrated on the sides) so unless you have fog lights these projectors dont have the best light output.

I had the angel eye chrome, I love the way they looked on my blk civic but my projector light kept blowing. So i took them out and cleared my stock headlights and i love them now, i think they put out a better beam then the proj. but the high beam on the proj. was alot brighter than the stock.
just my 2 cents, does anybody have any sugg. why my regular projector bulbs kept blowing, and no i didnt touch them. and my high beam and angel eye never blew.
thanks

I had a similar problem. My low beam kept blowing out. I replaced them once with some good bulbs and haven't had a problem since. I can't help more then that.
