failed inspection, who will pass me?
I raised my car a bit to comply with virginia's code:

my car came out of the garage with a failed sticker and he said i need to have 4 inches from the top of the tire to the fenderwell or something. wtf.

Rep Power: 295 but even if i raised my car all the way, there wouldn't be 4" between the tire and fenderwell. anyway, right after I posted this I had to head out to work, so I printed up the page dealing with suspension modifications and showed it to him. another guy came out and took my side saying it's a legal suspension kit (he looked over my car during the inspection too) so he scratched his head, looked at the car again, and put on the passing sticker 
everything went cool. the other guy didn't know where the whole 4" rule came from. I mean, look at corvettes

Rep Power: 0 i know an inspector here in vabeach that just checks ur lights[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] all he cares about is that your light turn on... he's into imports too
