**I have been working with the editors at Honda Tuning and I wanted to make everyone aware that Honda Tuning WILL be featuring the Mid-Atlantic 7th Gen meet in the Honda Tuning magazine next year. (Yeah!!!) Due to this, please be sure to show up at your best! I have promised the editors this would be the best 7th gen meet they'd ever attended. Please let's make it this!!! Also, I would like to thank Derek for allowing me the use of the 7th gen logo. **

Seriously though; I'd like to see if we can get, oh, 50 or 60 MEMBERS out there. I've already got plans for the mods to come, and I GUARENTEE I'll be sittin' pretty. In addition, I'd like to see some more of the members trying to get to know MORE OF THE MEMBERS, instead of sticking to a clique of people they know. Maybe adding in some sporting events (like a healthy BASKETBALL tourny) or group contests will help us come together a little, instead of showing up, sitting around, and not speaking. Everyone can't be as goofy as I am, but the LEAST we can do is be a little more outgoing. We had a lot of people at the last meet who never even spoke, but they SURE ATE BURGERS, DIDN'T THEY?!?!? I don't know if any of you guys frequent other sites, but I think it would be cool to mention the meet on clubsi, clubrsx, b15sentra.net, honda-acura.net, honda-tech, team-integra, etc. I know some of you have car clubs and friends so why not get people to mention it on there. This could be a huge, huge meet if we make the effort.

EDIT: I have been talking with Steph and I understand both sides, completely. But it is up to the community to decide. Once we know, the committee will make every effort to enforce it. It is a democracy, ya know!

1) Would you want the meet to be just 7thgen civics?

I think it should just be open to 7thgencivics (and the immediate friends of those). though we all share a common interest, we'll want to keep the talk on our cars, not go exploring others. my opinion

while it would be really cool IMO to have you know like 80 cars of all types at the meet, i'd rather have only 7thgen Civics (and maybe a few of their friends with diff cars) cause that way i dont feel stupid since i know so damn much about our cars, but so little about any others [IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG] haha

My concept or idea i wanna put in is that we have a DIY meet too.... Someone has a mod they want to put in. We can all gather and watch how to install certain mods to the car. I'm not sure anyone is up for that.But yet it might be helpful to others if they need ideas for their rides

We are meeting at Coleman Park in PA. And like 2hottie said...not until sometime in July. The date will be decided right after Jan. 1, 2003 most likely.

And guys--I know you didn't mean it, but let's keep this thread on the topic of the mid atlantic meet. I love playing the bitch!
