like, if i get a spoiler w/ red lights on it that go on only when my brake lights do, that's legal right?

so if I got a red neon underbody kit that only went on when my brake lights were on, would that be legal?

and if I can add turn signals to my side mirror, can I do a similar thing w/ lit up washer nossels (sp?) ?

things like this seem logical to me, but I wanna have legalality to back it up before I get another $270 ticket (well that was just speeding, but a ticket sucks regardless)

1-----spoiler should be no problem w/ the law cause lots of cars come w/ the brake lite in the spoiler

2-----they would hit u big time for this because u cannot have neons on while driving only iin a parked position because the popo say that your neons can destract other drivers and are a hazzard
(plus they can hit u for impersonating a cop)

3----- windsheild washers might be illegal in red n blue(dont quote me on this) because ive herd they destract other drivers and are a hazzard(plus they can hit u for impersonating a cop....again) amd i think turn signals on your morrors are legal

i hear clear windsheild washers are legal but i dunno if you can hook them up to your turn signal

A cop told me that you can have neons on your car and it is legal, but you can't be able to see the actual neon bulb. I don't know if it was bs, but thats what I was told. I have never been pulled over for mine yet.

i just spent like half an hour looking through the NJDMV site...as well as laws & public safety...cant find anything resembling laws. i thought they'd be in the highway and traffic safety, but no....that was a silly guess apparently.
good thing i live next to the police station and municipal building...i think im gonna go mosey on down there this afternoon and ask for the laws or something.

i'm kinda slumming it right now. I live either @ my mom's house in Hopatcong (Pbfoot: go on 80 west for just under an hour) or occasionally @ my Dad's house in Bergenfield. If I'm gonna do any cool mods in Bergen county, I'll let you know.

Oh yeah and all of NJ's governmental organizations have some sort of web phobia. I made my town's web page for 5 years. We got ZERO help from the borough. We had to OCR the town's newsletter because they refused to email it to us. We even offered to go to town hall to get it on floppy but they never gave us any respect so we gave up.
