I really want to tint my car, so I have been thinkning about it a lot. Yesterday, I saw two trucks with mirror on front glass, a mustang and two accords with limo tint on front glass. How do they get away with it. I thought the cops would pull you over.

The cops will pull you over if they feel like it. A lot of people get it anyway. The tint place makes you sign a paper saying that you understand that it's illegal before they will do it. Atleast, that's what I have been told! If you feel like taking the risk...go for it.

Yep... I had my fronts done. They make you sign a waiver saying that the shop is not responsible for it. I have 20% tint, it's noticeable, but not extremely dark. I haven't been pulled over for it yet.

My mom has a 99 Acura CL with 5% tint all around. It's extremely dark to the point where you can barely see out at night. Every time I take it out, I get pulled over for the tint. I just tell him it's my moms car and the cops just always told me to tell my mom it's illegal and it needs to be taken off. No ticket or anything, but I do know of a lot of people who do get tickets for it.

So if you do get tint all around, be careful... If you have dark interior, your tint will look darker than it really is no matter what. Keep that in mind, too.

i was talkin to a PA state trooper the other day.. he had a Z28... he off duty... but anyway he got to talkin bout my tint.. and he told me he ripps ppl tints off.. im was like damn man.. thats harsh... then i proceeded to enter my vehicle n drive off far far away...

yah its illegal but everyone and their mothers have it worst comes to worst drive with ur windows down its only a $44 dollar tiacket not a big deal the owrst was when i got a ticket at freehold and everyone told me i had to court nah u juss have to pay it i wasn't going to drive for 2 hours anyway...

Yeah I watched too much FnF and I love the eclipse dark limo tint, and I had 6% on the back 3 and window strip to begin with so it was on my mind so much I just said forget it lets go get it done. They simply on the receipt put customers choice on front 2 windows. Yeah its not bad at night when you are in town just a litle interesting in the middle of no where with no moon light.
