Meet 12/28 - last one of 2007
Its a Festivus, for the rest of us!
Its a friday, but everyone should be home that week. Same deal as last time, except lets just go to D&B's.... I kinda feel bad shafting George again.

uh as long as nothing comes up family or chores wise then im in. so im guessin we are meeting at fuddruckers first then we cruise to D&B? hopefully i can bum my sisters car or hitch a ride with someone. let me know if anyone around my place(if u dont remember i live in the Burke, VA area) can pick me up just as my back up, if no go on my sisters car.

Had a slight change of events last night and I may not be able to make it or more my car might not be able to make it 
Put in my Stage 2 camshaft last night with valve springs and retainers torqued everything to specs (probably should put some lock tight on the cam gear bolt) took it out for a test drive and threw the whole cam gear, and belt.
Hopefully I'll have and xmas miracle and not have any valves bent.
So gonna pull the head tonight after xmas dinner to see the damage.
Anyways Merry Xmas everybody!!!!!!
Put in my Stage 2 camshaft last night with valve springs and retainers torqued everything to specs (probably should put some lock tight on the cam gear bolt) took it out for a test drive and threw the whole cam gear, and belt.
Hopefully I'll have and xmas miracle and not have any valves bent.

eh, chances are your valves are fine unless you freewheeled it in gear for a while after it cut out. id put the timing set back together and do a compression test before firing it up. it'll save you from pulling the head if you dont need to. good luck. and *I THINK* the cam bolt is one time use, so locktite or extra torque may be required. dont quote me though, cuz i think i reused mine when i installed my ****.

I've re-used my cam bolt now a total of four times. Shouldn't be any problem there. Good luck with it man, hope it all works out all right.

I have a spare set of valves in case you need it. But I hope you dont.

Hope you get the bucket up and running again...I just hit 100K and my lock actuator went poof. And I still got my lovely EGR CEL and SRS light on. But at least my car still runs
