Animals Suck
so today i creamed some guys dog... ran out in front of me. dogs fine from what i saw so far and the guy said it was his fault. thank god. however my bumper isnt. on the right side ive got an enormous dent. id pop it out but the paints flaking already. F*CK! the guy said hed take care of it. he was really cool about it. so heres the main issue...
does anyone around the Philadelphia area (preferably around 19070 and 610 area code) have a stock, silver 02 front bumper? ive got a sedan. do the 2 door bumpers fit? itd be a big help if you'd sell me one or trade. the cars in near perfect condition, so im looking for something close to or that. thanks for the help.

Don't plan on that being just the bumper. My guess is that you'll need a new self destructing bumper rail for under the headlight and maybe the rail for under the fender as well. Also make sure the fender didn't buckle from the bumper getting shoved up. You may not see it, but have a body shop check it with a high intensity light... they may find a crack in the paint.
effin wonderful. how much that usually run?
well got news on the dog n everything. its fine just a couple of scratches and the guy who had them is going to pay for everything. woot

paint job is prolly 350-500 depending on who's doing it. If the fender gets into the mix, they prolly won't have to do the whole fender, so maybe another 100 or so if they can just sand up the edge by the bumper and touch it up while its still on the car.
wow. im glad im not payin for it. i feel bad makin the guy pay for all of it but w/e it was his fault. from what ive seen the fender is perfectly fine. no damage from what i see. the bumper just missed it when it was getting bent upish. would it be cheaper to just get a whole new bumper installed rather than painting it?
eyeheartvtec... where do you live in PA? I might be able to help you out or at least save you some cash. The car shop i work at has this guy from Cindy Rowe glass and paintless dent removal come down all the time, guy works magic, i know it's plastic.. but maybe he can work it out without messing the paint up too much... plus we got a guy that mixes & sprays paint. It looks like the paint stretched if not a hairline crack. I had a bd dent from head getting slammed into my driver's side panel, NO not mine, it was a stupid bar fight... **** called my vic a chick car! If you want someone to look at it as another option.

i'm not sure but that sounds pretty close including a new bumper. They don't run that cheap. The shop i was talking about is all the way out here in Lancaster... about a hour drive... depending on traffic and how well you drive. Better you found someone there to do it. The bumper and painting run pretty high i got qouted alittle over $400 without install. But it depends what they charge for labor. It's not a hard task taking it off and installing a new one really.
How bad is your windshield? Cindy Rowe out here fixes small stuff and their dent guys perform mircles every day. About $45 a panel... i've seen the one guy fix some crappy dents without messing up the metal or paint every time.

well actually, i was talking to someone and they said its covered by the honda emissions thing. so i might be ok. the whole windshield was replaced previously. it comes up from the bottom of the w/s and goes about 4 inches - 6 inches upward slanted. it starts in that spot where the wipers cant get. the lil triangle thing.
and about the bumper, theyre charging more than the bumper costs for labor. it would take me like 10 minutes to take off and replace with a new bumper but my parents want it done professionally so i dont have problems with it later.
the whole cost includes
removing the bumper
new bumper
new paint
+ labor
disposal of the paint
and putting it back on.
