My dad's Nikon 50D(iirc that's it's model number) it's the 5MPixel Nikon. He only has the stock lense(it's a varible focal length but it works nicely). The only problem I have with the camera is it outputs to a strange size... 3000x2000 pixels. It makes cropping a bit...weird. But none the less, I figured it out and they look decent.

im excited to the max! i pick up mega-ryan (hahaha) on thursday. apparently his place lands at 5:48pm. what a random time. if he's not in the terminal by 5:50pm im outta there, and that effer can walk his butt to AC.

im still deciding when we're gonna drive down...was originally gonna drive at night...but now with paradoxblue following me up, not sure if he'll be comfortable driving solo through the night. at least i'll have mega-ryan (hahaha.)with me.

maybe we'll drive down friday afternoon? then find somewhere to sleep that night? hrm. dan oh where you camping that night? how much is it for one night?

its like $18/person to camp for a night where i am. its called birch grove park, and it sounds like a real cool place from the book i have.

$18/night up to 4 people. so, technically, if you bring your tent and if the camp is all booked, if they let us pitch 2 tents, i can share my campsite since mine is already reserved.

and that sounds like a TOTALLY awesome idea! although, it would be 5 people w/ the hooker...i guess paradoxblue and ryan will have to flip a coin to see who stays.

Erm... I may have found a SLIGHT snag... Brighton Park isn't a park that you can really... park at.



It looks like Brighton Park is teeny tiny... And if I know AC that parking Lot next to it has a steep entry fee or belongs to a casino.

well, i never said brighton park was a lot...i said that the lot next to the park is where were meeting. i dont know AC, so i dont know how much it costs to park at that specific lot. if its a lot, then we said that we will park in the sands casino garage at the top level. either way, parking anywhere in AC close to the beach is gonna cost money.

anyone know AC well enough to suggest a better place to park that doesnt cost a lot?

yes, there is no confusion. its a specific order of contingency plans.

the meeting spot was designated to be the parking lot accross the street from brighton park. if that parking lot is too expensive, we all meet on the top floor of the garage for the sands casino.

i emailed a friend that goes to AC often and asked him if there are any other suggestions he has for parking, so if i hear back from him ill let you all know, but as it stands that is the meeting spot. the time for everyone to shoot for is 2pm. not too early, not too late.

i noticed that this is not on the first post, so ill edit and add this. but im not even sure if anyone goes to read the first post, so ive just been posting updates in the thread assuming people who are coming are following the thread.
