New car club!
Well, everyone in the Newark, New Jersey area we are starting a car club. It will be called "Xplicit Stylz", and we have the windshield banners already. We also have our logo, which is the Parental Advisory sign, but instead of saying Explicit Lyrics it says "xlpicit stylz". So we need people! So far we have the following...
my 2k2 Civic EX 5-speed, a Auto-Daewoo Nubira, a 5-speed Protege 5, an auto-Porsche 928, a 5-speed RSX Type S, 2 5-speed GTI's, an auto-Mistubishi Lancer, and a 5-speed Veilside 3000GT VR-4.
So we need some more Civic's! If you wanna join just leave a post here with your e-mail and I'll get to you...thanks for your time.

Alright so here we go, my car currently has a Streetglow Underbody Neon kit(Neo-Blue), a MOMO Shift ****, boot, and pedals, PIAA HID's, PIAA Turn Signals, PIAA Parking Lights, cleared headlights, and a few stickers. I'm getting more stuff soon.
It's 25 bucks to get in, and that'll cover the cost for a windshield banner and two misc. stickers. The "Parental" advisory thing.
Then it's 20 bucks a month, and that'll cover Englishtown costs and maybe if we save up a project car.
We are centered in Union, NJ.
We currently don't have any sponsors, but a new shop opened up and he said we'll talk about the sponsorship. That's what we really need, though...a sponsor.
I'm also making the website, which'll be Explicit Stylz.com, and will be half FLASH.
Our offical open is going to be Mid-March on a Sunday Morning, we are all going to E-Town to run a few times.
Like I said, not everything is set in stone. Not the cars, not the dates, not the money, but we are getting there.
O and we also have a Subaru Impreza joining, along with a stick Eclipse.

Thats insane to spend all that money to join a car club. Why dont you just join one thats free to join and offers the same stuff. My club that I am a member of is free to join, and there are no monthly fees. If your interested let me know. The club is based out of NY but we have members all over NY and some other states too.

Ok, buddy, if you wanna recruit for youre club...go ahead.
Hey let me ask you something...your club paid for your stickers? Do they pay for you to goto Englishtown? How about when you goto shows and need to set up shop?
How about a project car?
Plus, I think Spyder is looking for a little more then a redneck car club man....Learn some respect.
And like I said nothing is set in stone, although the 25 bucks'll is pretty much set.

Why would you call my club a Redneck car club? There is no reason for you to get all bent out of shape man. I was just explaining to him that there is no reason to pay that much money for a car club. The club I belong to has over 90 members nation wide, We have american and import cars. The club was started over 2 years ago and is still going strong. We have car meets during the spring and summer, and an occasional one during the colder months. We attend car shows, we have barbaques, and the track. If there is a need for people to contribute money for an event, all the members contribute. There is no reason to pay a monthly fee. Also the only thing that requires money in the club is a sticker. It Costs $5 for the club sticker, and you can get it in any color you like. Im not stopping any one from joining your club, I was just writing my feelings about your club. I have been posting on this board for almost a year and I dont want to see any of my fellow 7th gen owners getting jacked of money that could be spent somewhere else.
Have a nice day.

Alright buddy, don't give me bs that stickers cost 5 bucks...maybe some that are 6 x 4 inches, these are three stickers. A windshield banner, and two stickers for a shirt. These are two tone also, add some more money for that...and you pick your own color.
Ok, next...getting jacked? No I think not, we will have a monthly sheet that shows where the money went to..where it's going to...and so on and so forth.
I don't appreciate you trying to recruit on my thread...ok? Most car clubs you pay a monthly fee, and don't bs. And what kinda name is "Road-spankers"?

I didnt make the name up, I am only a member. The name doesnt matter really. We call it Club RS anyway. Yes you are only paying $5 for one sticker but big deal, it is better than paying $25 to join and $20 a month. That is ridiculous. Im not recruiting anyone on your thread. If people want to join then that is great, if not then that is great too. We have people coming to us to be members...Im sure you will get people to join your club and I wish you good luck. No reason to be bitter.

Re: New car club!
I am very interested in this new car club. Been looking for a club since I bought my car in January. Have a 2008 Civic Si, bone stock so far but I am planning to do some upgrades before the year ends (Skunk 2 exhaust, High Flow CAT, Injen SRI, Hondata Flashpro). It would be good to be part of a group that has the same interests as me and could help me upgrade my car. Live in Freehold, about 40 min from Newark.
