I'm sure quite a few people (if not everybody) would be planning on staying at the hotel. It's ~3.5 hours to DC from here. Only the hardcore would go home.
There's *tons* to do here in Virginia Beach. I suggest you bring a swimsuit for one thing.
There's a water park right down the street if people wanna go afterwards. I think after 5pm, the prices drop. There's also a go-kart track and 2 18-hole putt-putt golf courses. And then there's the strip ...Oh boy, the strip.
That's where everybody goes and hangs out at night during the summer. We all go crusing and stuff. Majority of the clubs and bars are down there. But since that's where most of the action is, the cops are pretty heavy down there, so you'll hafta watch yourself.Don't worry, we'll find stuff to do at night.

In addition, if you plan on staying in a hotel, I suggest talking it over with people on the site through PM/IM/email. I don't think the MA meet needs 3 stickied threads. Pick people you think you can room with for a night or two and contact them.
PS: I will be deleting threads that have no pertinence to the point at hand in both this thread and the food thread.
