What was the trade in value of your Honda Civic?

Wussup guys, Happy New Year to Everyone. Just wana ask if anyone have traded in their civic lately?

What was the trade in value of your civic?

I'm planning to get a '05 Honda CRV EX 4wd Manual trans and will trade in my '03 Civic EX Cpe modified with lowered full suspension, cat-back, and short air intake, what dealer do you think has the best deal??

Thanks and Cheers for the New Year!!!

definitely take off all the MODS on the car. I know it's wierd but the more things you change on the car, the more you decrease the value of your car!!! A stock hood is worth more than a CF hood!!!!!!!! We buy honda's to trick'em out but normal people just want the honda itself. We know what it's worth but they don't. Seriously, take them out if you want to trade it in and if not, i'd say u have a better chance in selling it outside to a young import fanatic who might just barely give you what you invested.

Frankly, they probably dont care what its worth. The mods tend to decrease value cause to the general public, typical mods on a honda are 1. Ugly, 2. proof the car was beat and/or street raced, and 3. was owed by a "kid" who probably didnt maintain or otherwise take proper care of the vehicle itself.

no not stock, kamari body kit, intake, catback, and milliemaglia (sp)MM11 rims. I just wanted to see what it was worth. I would take the mods off, but the dude told me that my car had 15,000 over what it should have for its year.

I thought 42thousand was good for a 3yr old car.

It was when I traded it in. I sold all the mods I had to a few members on this site...including my rims/tires, XENON bumper, System, Taillights etc....
