Exclamation Speed Tolerance Compared To Nj

guys,

i got more than a couple of speeding tickets here in NJ for running at more than 80 at a 65 limit, but after that keeping my speed below 80 everything is ok now

here is my question, im travelling to NH from NJ, is the speed tolerance there same as here in NJ? doing the math as long as i keep my speed below +15 (below 80 at 65 limit) all is ok, is that the same thing w/ other states? other highway? any experiences?

on mapquest here are the routes ill be taking

95N

91N

84E

90E

93N

thanx guys

Just my say, but I would take NJTPK or GSP to NYS thruway to 84 east. Thruway is good for 75+ (not 80) and the same goes for 84. A lot depends on traffic. Sometimes going with the flow is like 85. Have fun

nj state troopers are no joke, especially on the Atlantic city x-way. There is one way around it, join a fire dept and get firefighter tags. The cops have left me alone ever since then

NJ sucks guys. Try to avoid it at all costs.

Just playing. On open roads like the GSP or some parts of 95, go as fast as you want. Just slow down before there's an overpass bridge... might be a copper on the other side of the wall.

ps. I am not promoting overspeeding. It is against the law. Thank you.

was your dector capable of detecting laser, or just radar? Sometimes they just sit there looking like their taking speeds, but its just a scare tactic. and it works. really well.

if youre going to NH, youre better off taking the parkway > 287/87 > 684 > 84 > 90/masspike > 93. trust me, ive done the nj to boston drive A LOT and this is the fastest way to go. 95 always sux cause of construction and bad drivers etc.

ive personally never gotten a ticket doing that drive. and usually average 75-80 mph. CT and NY will be the areas where cops are strictest. dont get caught in CT, they suck from what i hear. MA theyre pretty chill. if youre speeding and they are behind you, as long as you move over to the right and slow down they wont do anything to you.

it also depends on when youre driving. if its from like 6 - 10, it will be slow going on the first leg until you go past hartford. after that the traffic lets up as it gets later in the evening. ive gone 90 - 100 w/o problems....but you have to keep your eyes peeled and not be all over the road. just be safe and in control. drive whithin your abilities.

for sure the cop is not doing any scare tactics that time because i saw him giving a ticket to a lady in a yellow mazda protege5 earlier, the when i come back to that area around 10 minutes after, i forgot about him & there is the mighty cop pointing his laser on me & my cobra doesnt even sound

i read on one thread here that the only effective detectors are those expensive ones like escort & valentines (2-300 bux), now i know its true, mine doesnt work

and yes 95 sux, always traffic
