Post New Jersey Civic Owners

I didn't realize NJ was considered mid-atlantic...anyways. I'm fairly new to modding cars. If anyone is interested in meeting up somewhere to mod our cars & see what our cars look like. I'm sort of looking for 7thgen owners around the toms river area..but anyone who is interested, by all means respond. I think this would be a cool idea.

I know how to take off the front bumper and etc. but the big problem would be time. I work, go to school, and volunteer. I'm off on Monday and the next day I'll have a day to myself will be Thanksgiving. Maybe next semester may be different, but I don't know because I'm transfering...I'm probably going to say I can't help but I'll try my best.

there's a handful of regulars on the site from north jersey. I did most of my mods, but I'm no pro - just satified the things actually work. I can help with the bumper too I've taken mine off & on a zillion times now (upper grill, then foglights, then projectors, and then back to oem headlights; i should have just waited and done it all at the same time)

gauges? unless u have a turbo in that what do you need them for? installing a grill is prob one of the EASIEST things you could do, next to taking on and off ur rims/steelies. if u need installed n u cant do it urself, pay for it to get put on. go to a shop or somethin, dont go on a board to see if someone will do it for u for free.

That's not what I'm looking for. I was looking for someone to guide me through it so I don't end up screwing up my cars electrical system.

In January I will be moving to LEHT to work in Forked River - shouldn't be too far from you. I have done all my own stuff and once I have things sorted out with the house I will definitely have time. Keep in touch.

I'm looking for houses in Mystic Island - but that may change the more I get involved with the house hunt. I am going to be working at Oyster Creek Generating Station (that big'ole power plant off Route 9).

Any advice on good ares to look down there for houses? I'd prefer something waterfront with a slip/dock, but there seem to be some nice landlocked townhomes down there too.

I used to go jetskiing in the Oyster Creek inlet - know it all too well because I grew up about 4 miles from there. Good house advice....stay out of Mystic unless you plan on going somewhere a lil more exclusive (development, etc.) Mystic is the prescription-without-a-prescription capital of the East Coast...lots of drug peoples specializing in pharmacological items. Little Egg Harbor, Tuckerton are good choices if you want this general area...anything further south is the boondocks, big time. And yeah, the landlocked townhome market is great around here....expensive as a ****, but you get some good stuff for it. Need anything local as far as getting used to it once you get here let me know, be happy to show you around.
